Cedric E. Evans

Cedric Evans has amassed considerable experience defending pharmaceutical manufacturers in a multitude of complex mass tort claims. Clients rely on Cedric for his extensive experience defending product liability cases across the United States. He has taken lead or prominent pre-trial and trial discovery roles in matters involving prescription weight loss, antidepressant and pain medications, as well as a variety of other pharmaceutical products. Additionally, Cedric has significant experience defending matters on behalf of automobile, tire, home appliance and chemical manufacturers. Cedric also routinely represents clients in cases involving data protection, security and data breach litigation. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, Cedric was named a Rising Star® by Thomson Reuters for Texas Super Lawyers Magazine. Cedric received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991 and earned his Juris Doctor, with Distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1995. While at the University of Iowa, Cedric served as Note Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems and was honored with the publication of his note, The Concept of ‘Treat to Peace' and Humanitarian Concerns: Probing the Limits of Chapter VII of the U.N.
