Charles “Charlie” Bland

Charles "Charlie" Bland, Partner, joined Brophy & Bland, PLLC in July 2022. His practice focuses on Civil and Business Litigation, Contract and Fraud Disputes, Commercial Real Estate, and Labor and Employment Law. Charlie graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law, Austin. During law school, he was the Chief Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Technology at the University of Texas. Charlie worked during law school and obtained experience in criminal prosecution and civil litigation. Charlie worked for the Hays County Criminal District Attorney's Office where he analyzed evidence and assisted the prosecutors. He also worked at boutique law firms in Los Angeles, CA, and Austin where he assisted with the litigation of employment disputes. Charlie grew up in Los Angeles, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at Elon University in Elon, NC where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in International Studies. During his undergraduate years, Charlie studied abroad, and he interned at a Washington, DC firm representing leaders in defense, aerospace, intelligence, and related industries.
