Coleen Kinsler

Coleen knew in her third year of law school that she wanted to be a family law attorney and help families. She has been a family law attorney ever since. She is Board Certified in Family Law since 2020. Coleen understands that this is personal and has a long-term impact on families. Coleen’s primary goal is to assist her clients in resolving difficult family matters and to help them move forward with their lives in a dignified and respectful manner. Coleen recognizes that not every situation requires a courtroom, and instead assists her clients through negotiation and mediation when possible. If negotiation fails, Coleen is a zealous advocate and tenacious family law litigator. Coleen grew up in the Hudson Valley area of New York and is still a devout Yankees fan. She moved to the Austin area in middle school and received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Coleen attended law school in Chicago, Illinois, and is licensed in Illinois, but she got back to Texas as quickly as possible. She has practiced family law in Chicago, Harris County and surrounding counties, and most counties in central Texas. When Coleen is not in the office, she tries to keep up with the lawyer stereotype and can be found on the golf course. She also loves to cook, travel and spend time with her family.
