Connie J. Flores

Connie J. Flores is a founding partner of Flores Mendez Law, and her work is driven by something deeper than the law—it’s driven by people. She dedicates her practice to standing up for individuals and families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives, handling cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, 18-wheeler accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, dram shop claims, and auto collisions across New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. Her mission is simple but powerful: to fight for those who are being treated unfairly by insurance companies when they need compassion, support, and justice the most. A proud, lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, Connie’s story is rooted in the very community she serves. She attended the University of Denver, graduating with honors in 2003, and went on to earn her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2008, where she received the Dean’s Award. While in law school, she didn’t just study the law—she worked to shape its future by advocating for diversity and opportunity, serving as President of the Mexican American Law Student Association. Connie’s legal journey began long before she became an attorney. She worked for over eight years as a legal assistant at an El Paso-based personal injury firm, gaining firsthand experience and building a deep understanding of the struggles clients face. In 2016, she became a founding partner of Flores, Tawney & Acosta, P.C., playing a key role in expanding the firm to four locations across the Southwest. On October 1, 2023, she took another bold step forward by co-founding Flores Mendez Law, with offices in El Paso and Las Cruces—continuing her commitment to serve her community with integrity and strength. Whether negotiating with insurance companies or fighting in the courtroom, Connie stands shoulder to shoulder with her clients, determined to secure the justice they deserve. But Connie’s impact goes far beyond her legal work. Her heart lies in mentoring and uplifting others—especially teenage parents. Having become a mother at just 15 years old, she understands firsthand the challenges of continuing an education while raising a child. That experience fuels her passion to inspire, guide, and support young parents as they pursue their dreams. She regularly speaks at local high schools, sharing her story of resilience, perseverance, and hope, proving that circumstances do not define your future. Connie believes deeply in giving back and lifting others up. To her, success isn’t just measured by victories in court—it’s measured by the lives she touches along the way.
