Daniel J. Clanton

I am a second career lawyer. Before attending law school I spent ten years serving in the military as an attack helicopter pilot. I am a husband, father, and zealous advocate in family law cases. The same integrity, candor and dependability required to operate as an aviator now exist to create a dynamic attorney-client relationship. Nearly 100% of my practice is devoted to family law issues including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, suits affecting the parent-child relationship ("SAPCR") and modifications of existing orders. I was a child of divorce and experienced first-hand how a custody fight affects children. Then, as an active duty service member I experienced divorce touching children, property issues, and multijurisdictional complications. After law school I found myself gravitating to family law. I believe in providing each of my clients a personal approach to their concerns and focus my energy on striving for creative solutions to unique challenges. Communication is the cornerstone of an effective attorney-client relationship, so you can expect to be in regular contact with me throughout your case.
