Dax Ian Garvin

Dax Ian Garvin attended Austin College as an undergraduate from 1995-1997 and graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in May, 1999 (B.S. with honors). He obtained his J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in May, 2002. Dax distinguished himself in law school as a member of the Board of Barristers (recognizes those students who excelled in the art of oral and written advocacy through competitions). After graduating from law school, Dax began his legal practice with the Travis County Attorney's Office and moved into County Court at Law No. 3 as a misdemeanor prosecutor within a short time. In this position, Dax prosecuted eight to ten jury trials in a seven month period. Dax joined Wright & Greenhill, P.C. in October 2003 as a trial attorney. His trial practice is now concentrated on the civil side of the docket defending multiple types of claims. Dax is a member of the firm's insurance defense section and holds memberships with the Austin Young Lawyers Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Travis County Bar Association, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Dax was born in Tyler, Texas, in 1976, and reared in the Henderson area. He currently resides in Austin.
