About Greg Cole

Gregory A. Cole Prior to becoming Of Counsel with Bristol & Dubiel LLP in 2003, Gregory A. Cole practiced civil litigation in both Texas and Oklahoma. Licensed to practice law in 1993, Mr. Cole began his career in El Paso, Texas, as an Assistant District Attorney for the 34th Judicial District where he ultimately became the Chief Felony Prosecutor in the 168th District Court. Mr. Cole was subsequently appointed as a Special Prosecutor with the DEA’s West Texas Narcotics Task Force where he worked with federal and state law enforcement agencies involved in international narcotic interdiction. Upon leaving government service, Mr. Cole entered private practice, focusing his practice on business litigation and media/defamation law. He has been involved in a variety of media/defamation cases and has successfully represented a broad spectrum of clients in this area of the law, including political leaders, Fortune 200 companies, celebrities and other highly visible public figures. Since associating with Bristol & Dubiel LLP, Mr. Cole continues to practice primarily in the areas of commercial and general civil litigation, criminal defense, and media. Mr. Cole obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University in 1988 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa in 1992 where he was a member of the Tulsa Law Journal and recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Real Estate Transactions. He is licensed to practice law in all Texas and Oklahoma state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, the United State District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Texas and Oklahoma Bar Associations, the Dallas Bar Association and a member of the 2004 Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class. Mr. Cole also served as co-chairman of the Dallas Bar Association Committee for the American and International Law Conference. Mr. Cole also speaks fluent German.
