Jeffrey I. Nicodemus

Jeff Nicodemus' practice is devoted to professional liability defense, commercial litigation, products liability and general tort litigation. He has successfully defended claims made against a variety of professionals and businesses including broker dealers, brokers, registered representatives, insurance agents, real estate agents and appraisers, financial advisors, debt collection agencies, attorneys, accountants, architects and healthcare providers. Mr. Nicodemus has been named a Rising Star by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Magazine for six consecutive years. Representative Matters Successfully obtained a no liability finding for a securities broker and a financial planner in a NASD arbitration in Oklahoma City in which Claimant sought $2 million in damages alleging negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and violations of state and federal securities laws. Successfully obtained summary judgment for an insurance agent after a customer sued him for negligence related to a denied fire claim. Successfully obtained a no liability finding in a wrongful death action filed against an assisted living facility in San Angelo, Texas, against allegations of negligence and intentional injury to an elderly individual. Negotiated non-suit of unfair debt collection practice claim after gathering evidence and presenting it to opposing counsel and his client. No payment was required of collection agency or its insurance carrier for the non-suit. Successfully obtained summary judgment for a lawyer and lawfirm related to a legal malpractice claim arising out of a will, deed, and subsequent litigation. Successfully obtained summary judgment for an insurance agent after a customer sued him for negligence, fraud, and breach of contract related to a denied mold claim.
