Jill Penn

A mother and wife, Jill was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in December 2001. In 2005, she graduated from LSU’s law school, where she received various honors including Dean's List and Order of the Coif. She was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and Vice-President of the Legal Association of Women. After law school graduation, she and her husband moved to Dallas, Texas, where she practiced law for 6 years at one of the state's largest law firms. In 2011, she and her husband decided to move their family down to East Texas, where her husband grew up, to be closer to family and to begin a trial-intensive law practice. Jill has prosecuted and defended numerous types of lawsuits. She has represented Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and individuals in cases involving everything from securities fraud class action to probate litigation, from car accidents to construction defect litigation, and from divorce and child support issues to partnership disputes. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas as well as all four U.S. District Courts of Texas.
