Jodi D. Liukkonen

Jodi D. Liukkonen is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with over 20 years of legal experience in criminal law, child protection, and juvenile prosecution. Prior to joining Pantheon Legal Group, PLLC Jodi handled high-profile sexual offense cases at numerous large law firms in Dallas-Fort Worth, building a reputation for her tenacity and skill in navigating complex criminal defense litigation. Jodi’s distinguished career includes serving as an Assistant Public Defender for Minnesota's Seventh Judicial District, where she successfully represented both juvenile and adult clients in misdemeanor, felony, and child protection cases. Her ability to conduct jury and non-jury trials has resulted in dismissals, reductions, and Not Guilty verdicts for clients accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, and continuous sexual abuse of a child. Before she practiced criminal defense, Jodi served as an Assistant Juvenile Prosecutor, where she prosecuted Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) proceedings, among others. During this time, she earned certification as a Child Forensic Interviewer . Through working closely with law enforcement, social workers, and mental health professionals, she has a depth of knowledge regarding all phases of crimes against children investigation and related proceedings that only those who have worked inside the system would know. Jodi earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. She led the publication of four volumes and spearheaded a national symposium on child victims and cybercrime. Today, at Pantheon Legal Group, PLLC, Jodi brings her extensive courtroom experience, over 20 years of experience in crimes against children cases, and practical knowledge of criminal investigation.
