About Kim C. Smith

Kim Smith, born in South Vietnam, fled her homeland as a toddler during the fall of Saigon in 1975. After settling in the U.S., she overcame language barriers, later earning a degree in English Rhetoric from Texas A&M and a law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Specializing in Workers' Compensation, Kim began her legal career in Houston, expanded to Dallas-Fort Worth, and eventually managed her own practice. A mother of six, she joined Bailey & Galyen in 2013, where she now leads the Workers’ Compensation Department in Arlington.
