Michael Hawk

Michael Hawk is an aggressive criminal defense State and Federal trial lawyer. He has extensive trial experience in State Court handling misdemeanors up to first degree felonies. He has handled thousands of cases including sex crimes, assaultive offenses and murder. Mr. Hawk has been in private practice his entire career bringing 28 years of federal trial experience to the firm. Specifically, white collar crimes, drug conspiracy cases, distribution of child pornography, and sex trafficking. He has often been referred to as one of the best lawyers in Texas. Mr. Hawk graduated from Steven F. Austin in 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and earned his law degree from Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law in 1995. He was admitted to practice in the U. S. District Courts in Northern and Eastern Districts in 1997.
