Paul J. McConnell III

Paul McConnell has been trying real estate, other business lawsuits and handling real estate transactions for 40 years. He has handled cases in the Texas Supreme Court, a majority of the Courts of Appeals in the state of Texas, and state district courts in various counties around Texas, as well as throughout the federal court system, including the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas and numerous bankruptcy courts. Mr. McConnell has handled a number of significant real estate transactions and lawsuits on both sides of the docket, and has represented both the sellers of businesses and the purchasers of those businesses. He has handled condemnation, zoning, and platting matters, and has represented landlords and tenants in commercial lease disputes. He has represented numerous lenders in workouts, foreclosures, and related matters. He is a member of the Texas Land Title Association, is a frequent lecturer on various real estate issues, and has served on several TLTA committees. Mr. McConnell also serves as a mediator, utilizing the knowledge and experience he has gained and his mediation training to help parties find a solution to their disputes.
