Peter Boyd Wells III

Peter Boyd Wells, III (Boyd) represents clients in business matters including business entity formation, governance and the acquisition and sale of businesses, business disputes and in business litigation. Boyd also has experience in a wide variety of labor and employment matters including wage and hour issues, workplace safety and health, development of workplace rules and policies, employee benefits, allegations of workplace discrimination, issues involving agreements not to compete and protection of trade secrets. Boyd has also handled cases involving personal injuries. He has defended companies in occupational exposure and has coordinated the defense of clients on a national as well as statewide level. His practice also extends to Admiralty and Maritime Law. A native of Beaumont, Texas, Boyd graduated from Southern Methodist University School of law in 1976 after receiving his undergraduate degree in 1973 from the University of Texas at Austin.
