Richard G. Foster

Rick handles matters in a number of areas including insurance coverage disputes, business contract and tort matters, managed health care, physician credentialing and peer review, medical malpractice, products liability, general negligence, premises liability, oil and gas, land title disputes, and deceptive trade practice claims. Since being licensed in 1985, he has had the opportunity to try cases in a number of counties throughout Texas. Through this experience, he has gained a unique understanding of the pretrial and trial process in Texas which assists him in effectively assessing a clients chances of recovery or exposure. Rick is a Senior Shareholder in the firm's San Antonio office, working directly with four other firm attorneys based out of San Antonio. Rick's recent experience includes defending HMOs in various contract and benefit disputes; defending ranch owners in partition litigation; bringing suit on behalf of an oil and gas operator relating to a casing failure; suing on a breach of oil and gas lease rights relating to development of mineral interests in the Eagle Ford Shale; and defending commercial real estate interests in foreclosure proceedings.
