Ryan Thornhill

Ryan Thornhill has been a valued member of Nelson Law Group, PC since October 2020, bringing extensive experience in family law, civil and business matters, personal injury, settlement negotiations, and appeals. His practical and compassionate approach to legal representation aims to provide clients with peace of mind while seeking the best possible outcomes. Originally from Springfield, Missouri, Ryan comes from a family of legal professionals but sought to forge his own path in North Texas. He earned a B.A. in Strategic Communications from Texas Christian University before pursuing law full-time. Prior to joining Nelson Law Group, Ryan gained valuable experience as a law clerk and associate attorney at Rames Law Firm, handling civil cases and family law matters. He also served as a judicial intern with Judge Bonnie Lee Goldstein and Judge Ken Tapscott in Dallas. Ryan is dedicated to fostering personal relationships with clients through individualized attention. Outside of work, Ryan loves to spend time with his wife, Chandler. He also enjoys golfing, cooking, reading, and cheering for TCU football.
