Sanat Mehta

Sanat Mehta is an attorney at Coane and Associates who focuses on cases involving immigration law, employment law, and students' rights. He graduated from Rice University magna cum laude with a B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in Politics, Law, and Social Thought. He worked as a software engineer for a year and then went on to pursue a law degree at Stanford University Law School, completing his degree in June 2024. Mr. Mehta participated in the law school's Religious Liberty Clinic and has a particular interest in cases involving constitutional rights. Mr. Mehta grew up near Denver, Colorado and is of Indian descent. He is dedicated to helping individuals secure immigration status in the United States and protecting their rights in the workplace and the education system. Mr. Mehta is a licensed member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. During his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, following current events, board games, traveling (especially road trips), and spending time with family.
