About Victoria Broussard

I focus on the human aspect of legal representation, and I am devoted to helping clients solve problems. Prior to opening my firm, I received my Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University. I received the Distinguished Intern Award from the Honorable Judge Calvin Botley for my tenure as a Law Clerk in Houston, Texas; worked for a large Texas Based law firm, Jackson Walker LLP; and I clerked for Reliant Energy in the corporate legal department. My ambition and commitment to excellence earned me a coveted position as an associate for one of the largest firms in the nation, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP, where I worked on an array of litigation cases ranging from massive toxic tort litigation to simple contract disputes. Victoria Broussard is a resident of Harris County, is a member of the American Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in all courts in the State of Texas. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas and has lived abroad and throughout the United States. She possesses highly developed personal skills with a talent for gaining and building the confidence of others that is readily recognized. She graduated from The University of Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University, with honors, and was a member of Law Review where she served as the Executive Editor. She received the Distinguished Intern Award from the Honorable Judge Calvin Botley for her tenure as a Law Clerk in Houston, Texas; she worked for a large Texas Based law firm, Jackson Walker LLP; and she clerked for Reliant Energy in the corporate legal department. She is the author of "Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition: Legislators Push for Policy Direction to Protect the Age of Innocence While the Court Turns a Deaf Ear" and received numerous scholarships and awards during her law school tenure. In addition to operating a successful solo practice and raising a son who is a freshman at a private college in the Northeast. Ms. Broussard is also an advocate for the rights of survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She has lent her voice to this terrifying issue to bring awareness to a topic that has lurked in the shadows of society and caused immeasurable damage to countless people. Ms. Broussard joins her efforts with other survivors to dispel the myths surrounding childhood sexual abuse, encourage legislation that provides counseling and therapeutic services for victims, educates parents and caregivers to recognize the signs of sexual abuse, and that adequately punishes convicted offenders. Ms. Broussard has authored her first novel titled, i-Comfortable Victim. The story is based on real events in her life, but told through a fictional lens. The book chronicles the life of Saxxine De La Croix, a young woman destined for greatness who struggles with the soul stains caused by childhood sexual abuse.
