Wolf Puckett

Wolf Puckett is special counsel at Mullin Hoard & Brown with a focus in complex commercial and oil & gas litigation. His experience includes business dispute litigation, environmental claims, and free speech. Wolf offers extensive experience in cases involving real estate development litigation, and he and David Mullin litigated a case for a developer. In another case, Wolf worked with Mr. Mullin to defend the property rights of a trustee of a charitable trust after the City of Amarillo sought to condemn a tract of land. Environmental damages can be complex when it comes to litigation. Wolf has litigated five catastrophic fires, including two mega-wildfires that destroyed acres of land. Wolf and David have also defended a feed yard against claims of ground and surface water pollution. Wolf Puckett and David Mullin successfully defended a citizen in a libel lawsuit filed by a County Commissioners Court Judge. The claims were the result of statements made by Wolf’s client in print and broadcast media about the cost overruns regarding the building of a new jail. Wolf and David Mullin obtained summary judgment on all claims and then obtained affirmance of that summary judgment in the court of appeals for their client. Wolf received his undergraduate degree in international relations and economics from Stanford University, his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law.
