Xinyan "George" Zhou

George Zhou is an associate at Song Whiddon. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and transaction with a variety of industries including real estate, contract disputes, internal investigations, U.S. export control compliance. George previously worked as a member of a monitor team that was appointed by the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, tasked with monitoring an international technology company’s plea agreement obligations and implementation of a global compliance program. Prior to coming to the United States, George has practiced as a corporate lawyer in Shanghai for years and regularly handles complex commercial litigation and internal investigations. George graduated from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2018 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Law at Shanghai Maritime University. Fun facts George enjoys traveling and being a foodie with his wife Sindy. As a Shanghainese, George is also a good cook.
