Spencer "Benny" Salcido

Spencer "Benny" Salcido's love of criminal law began long before he started practicing it at Salcido Law Firm. Benny worked as a social studies teacher and tennis coach at American Fork High School in American Fork, Utah. As a teacher he taught his students about their constitutional rights and how to protect themselves from police abuse. He then attended the J. Ruben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where his criminal law and trial classes established a strong foundation in criminal defense. This education, along with his time at the Orem City Attorney's office and his more than a decade of experience as an attorney, has made him into a top criminal defense attorney in Utah. While Benny practices in all areas of criminal defense, he has developed an interest and focus in DUI defense. He has completed the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing ("SFST") training and the Advanced Roadside Impairment Driving Enforcement ("ARIDE") training given to police officers. He is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense, whose membership has assisted him greatly with his many DUI trials and driver's license division hearings.
