Tony G. Jones

Tony grew up in Bountiful, Utah, where he excelled in academics and athletics. He is a graduate from the University of Utah with a double major in both Biology and Japanese. He developed a love of the culture and language of Japan while he was on a service mission there for two years. Tony graduated from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, with a law degree. Tony has practiced bankruptcy law for 20 years and has managed cases in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. He sat on the Board of the Utah Bankruptcy Lawyers Forum from 2006-2015 and served as Vice-President from 2007-2010. Tony is a great listener with a caring disposition and has a great understanding of his clients’ problems and how to solve them. In his spare time, Tony is the President of the Utah Lepidopterists’ Society (butterfly and moth experts). He is currently working on a field guide to the butterflies of Utah. He specializes in photography of wildlife, especially birds, butterflies, moths, and dragonflies.
