Tyler Heap

Tyler Heap was born and raised in San Diego, California. He earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University in 2020, where he served as Managing Editor of Submissions for the BYU Journal of Public Law, and is a member of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Heap focuses his practice on transactional law, including estate planning, business structuring, business acquisitions and sales, and nonprofit organization formation. He advises individuals, families, and closely held businesses on entity formation, nonprofit creation, and asset protection strategies. He joined Scalley Reading in 2025. Outside of his practice, Mr. Heap is a proud father of four and volunteers as a coach for his children’s sports teams. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly basketball and volleyball.
