Christopher E. Pelkey

Chris concentrates his practice on transactional matters, including residential and commercial real estate purchases, sales, and contracts; wills, trusts, estates, and probate matters; creating LLCs, L3Cs and corporations; and general business matters. Chris attended the University of Vermont where he received his B.A. in Biology. He earned his J.D., cum laude, and a General Practice Program certificate, from Vermont Law School. While at Vermont Law School, he was on the dean's list in multiple semesters, and earned six academic excellence awards for achieving the highest grade in his classes. Prior to joining Valsangiacomo & Pelkey, Chris clerked at a Burlington real estate law firm, and spent twelve years in various roles at a Vermont-based health insurance provider. He is admitted to the Vermont Bar, and a member of the American Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association. A Central Vermont native, in his free time Chris enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children's sporting events, running, snowmobiling, and exploring back roads.
