Mr. Atchuthan "Sris" Sriskandarajah is the owner and CEO of SRIS Law Group, P.C. Mr. Sris started the firm in 1997 and today it is one of the few solely owned law firms that has client meeting locations in Virginia, Maryland and Chennai, India. The SRIS Law Group, P.C. has ten client meeting locations - seven in Virginia, two in Maryland and one in Chennai, India. Mr. Sris was a former prosecutor for the Town of Haymarket, Virginia. As a result of his experience as a prosecutor in addition to being a very successful trial lawyer, his knowledge of criminal/traffic law and domestic relations is exemplary. Attorneys who have been in practice for a greater period of time than Mr. Sris turn to him for advice on how to handle complex criminal and family law cases. Mr. Sris has defended clients charged with criminal matters for over fifteen years. Some of the different types of criminal cases Mr. Sris has handled on behalf of his clients are armed robbery, malicious wounding, grand larceny, burglary, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine, heroin, etc. and sex offenses such as solicitation of a minor via the internet, rape, prostitution, child pornography, etc. Mr. Sris will occasionally handle upon a special request traffic matters such as reckless driving, DUI or driving on a suspended license. Due to Mr. Sris' experience as domestic relations litigator, he assists other attorneys in the firm with the more complex divorce cases, child custody matters, UCCJEA relocation cases.
