Eric J. Demetriades

Eric Demetriades grew up in South Florida and attended Florida State University for his undergraduate degree in Political Science and his Master’s Degree in Applied American Politics. After completing his Master’s Degree he attended the University Of Richmond School of Law. At the University of Richmond he was very active in the Client Counseling and Negotiations Board, the Trial Advocacy Board, a member of Phi Delta Phi, and was elected to the Student Bar Association. After graduating law school in 2007, Mr. Demetriades worked for Steptoe and Johnson briefly before practicing for a General Practice Firm in Loudoun and Fairfax County. While an associate at the firm he handled cases ranging from School Disciplinary Appeals to Murder cases. In 2010 he was named one of Loudoun County Businesses' Top 30 Under 30 Professionals. In 2013 he started the law firm of Hendrix │ Demetriades, PC with his law partner Lindsay Hendrix. Hendrix │ Demetriades, PC specializes in Criminal Defense and Family Law. Mr. Demetriades has handled several high profile criminal cases in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. He has also been active in the community through sponsoring a Blood Drive through INOVA, a mentor with the Leadership in the Law Camp for rising High School Seniors, and through his involvement in the "Beat the Odds” program which awards scholarships to high school seniors who have been involved in the Juvenile Court System. In 2014 and 2015 he was named a Super Lawyer: Rising Star, by Super Lawyers Magazine and is currently serving as the President of the Loudoun County Bar Association for the 2015-2016 term.
