Wesley F. Agee

Wes Agee is a member of the firm's Business Services Section. Wes has over thirty-five years of experience counseling and serving clients and his practice emphasizes representation of non-profit and profit business entities, including business corporations, general and limited partnerships, professional corporations, limited liability companies and sole proprietorships. Wes provides a comprehensive range of services for individuals and large and closely held or family businesses in the areas of formation of new business entities, facilitating mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, and he provides advice and counsel on business planning and operations, employment agreements, contracts, local and state business taxation, ownership, family transfers, zoning, subdivision and other land use questions. Wes received his B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University in 1976 and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1979. Wes is active in the civic community. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tri-State and served on the Board of Advisors for the Marshall University H.E.L.P. Program (Higher Education for Learning Problems) for almost twenty years. Currently her serves on the Board of Directors of Riverview Manor, Inc. and as Trustee of the First Presbyterian Church Foundation. Wes is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating for an attorney. Wes is married, has four grown children and one granddaughter.
