Abby Moe

Abby Moe is an Associate at Nicholson Goetz & Otis, S.C., where she focuses her practice on family law and injunction matters, including restraining orders. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and brings a unique blend of legal skill, analytical strength, and compassion to every case. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Moe worked as a parent educator and birth doula, giving her a strong foundation in family systems and child development. This background allows her to approach divorce, paternity, custody, and placement matters with a deep understanding of the personal dynamics families face. Attorney Moe also has a strong background in mathematics, which she applies to the financial aspects of family law. She assists clients with marital balance sheets, asset division, maintenance and maintenance buyout calculations, and child support calculations to ensure clarity and accuracy throughout the process. She represents clients in mediations, settlements, contested hearings, and trials involving a wide range of family law issues, including custody, property division, school enrollment disputes, and marital property agreements. She is committed to client-centered, collaborative representation paired with vigorous advocacy. Outside the office, Attorney Moe enjoys spending time with her children, staying active at the gym, and getting outdoors through activities such as biking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding.
