Andrea Winder

Andrea Winder is an Associate Attorney at Nicholson Goetz & Otis, S.C., where she practices both criminal defense and family law. Prior to passing the Wisconsin Bar Exam, Attorney Winder attended law school at Stetson College of Law in Florida, where she took advantage of its #1 nationally ranked trial advocacy program by competing in and coaching mock trial and other advocacy competitions. Upon returning to Wisconsin, Attorney Winder interned for two circuit court judges, assisting them in drafting decisions and researching legal issues, as well as completing an internship for the Green County District Attorney’s Office where she was able to appear in court and handle hearings and trials under the supervision of prosecutors. Attorney Winder began her career by founding her own law firm and primarily representing indigent defendants in criminal cases who faced charges ranging from low level misdemeanors to high level felonies. Attorney Winder has experience in numerous surrounding counties and is relied on by many judges to serve as court appointed counsel to protect and advocate for the constitutional rights of criminal defendants. Attorney Winder is dedicated to her clients’ best interests and passionately advocates on their behalf while demonstrating the poise, preparedness, and proficiency required to effectively navigate all stages of a case up to and beyond trial. Attorney Winder believes that maintaining regular communication with her clients is paramount, and she strives to ensure that their concerns and questions are promptly addressed.
