David A. Blumberg

David A. Blumberg is an attorney in private practice in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. As a family law practitioner, he limits his practice to interstate child custody jurisdiction and enforcement cases. He is a recognized authority on child custody jurisdiction and on the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. Attorney Blumberg graduated from the University of Southern California Law School in 1970 and practiced in Southern California until 1985. In 1982, he became one of the first lawyers to be certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Family Law. From 1986 to 1999, he practiced family law in New York, where he also edited and published the New York Family Law Update, a weekly newsletter for New York family lawyers and judges. After moving his practice to Southeast Wisconsin, he narrowed his family law practice to child custody cases. In 2007 he began further limiting his practice to interstate child custody jurisdiction and enforcement cases. That’s all he handles now. Throughout his career in the law, Attorney Blumberg has tried to improve the lives of children by minimizing conflict between their too-often antagonistic parents.
