Beatrice Skye Resendes

Ms. Resendes represents businesses in all aspects of litigation and transactional law, with an emphasis on employment law defense and contract negotiation. Ms. Resendes formerly represented plaintiffs in consumer class actions alleging deceptive advertising of food, drugs, supplements, and cosmetics; victims of elder financial abuse; and employees alleging wage and hour violations. She has several published decisions to her credit, including the certification of a nationwide class action against the largest homeopathic drug company in the United States. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she received twelve Witkin Awards. Ms. Resendes is the recipient of the prestigious, national Burton Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, for her published student note regarding the federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. She has received a national Inns of Court Outstanding Program Award and was editor of Thomas Jefferson Law Review for three years. Ms. Resendes clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey B. Barton of the San Diego Superior Court and was a Jefferson Fellow Research Assistant in the fields of torts and health law.
