Brian M. Kelly

Brian M. Kelly is a trial attorney practicing in Orange County for over a decade. Mr. Kelly has first-chair trial experience, jury trial experience, complex commercial arbitration experience, and has successfully argued in front of the California Court of Appeal. With an emphasis on legal malpractice and business disputes, he represents plaintiffs and defendants across a variety of industries, from law firms and property developers to staffing agencies and internet service providers. His representative experience includes defeating a complex indemnification claim, prevailing on a $375,000 fraud counterclaim, and then winning a motion to recover over $1.2 million in attorneys’ fees following a jury trial; obtaining a judgment of over $450,000 for a commercial landlord in a court trial; and obtaining and successfully defending on appeal an order disqualifying counsel for one of the largest public entities in California. Southern California Super Lawyers® selected Mr. Kelly as one of its “Rising Stars” from 2020 to 2023, and Best Lawyers® named him to its 2020-2024 “Ones to Watch” lists. While attending the UCLA School of Law, Mr. Kelly was an extern for the Hon. David O. Carter of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. When not practicing law, Mr. Kelly enjoys camping with his family and following Angels baseball.
