Katherine O’Neal

Kate O'Neal has practiced law in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1986. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (J.D. 1986) and Indiana University (B.A. magna cum laude, 1983), Kate has experience with a broad range of civil litigation, including employment discrimination, breach of contract, unfair competition, professional negligence, product liability and insurance coverage. Kate is a specialist in employment law and counsels and advises employers on a full range of employment-related issues, including drafting and enforcing personnel policies, creating employee handbooks, employee discipline and termination, responding to administrative investigations and complying with California and federal laws governing employers. She has handled employment discrimination lawsuits involving claims based on gender, pregnancy, disability, race and age.
