Mai T. Nguyen

Mai T. Nguyen is a senior associate at Hart Kienle Pentecost whose practice focuses on business and real estate matters. She assists clients with corporate formation and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and the purchase, sale, leasing, and financing of real property. She also advises property owners and managers in the manufactured housing and mobile home park industries on compliance with the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL), rent control ordinances, and related operational issues. Ms. Nguyen’s work includes preparing community rules and regulations, reviewing agreements, assisting with conditional use permits, and providing practical guidance on day-to-day management concerns. Her goal is to help clients navigate transactions and compliance matters with clarity and efficiency. Before joining Hart Kienle Pentecost, Ms. Nguyen spent over a decade in both private practice and in-house roles, advising small businesses, start-ups, commercial landlords, and corporate clients in industries ranging from real estate to telecommunications. Her experience includes corporate governance, real estate transactions, due diligence, and negotiating complex agreements. While earning her J.D. at Chapman University School of Law, Ms. Nguyen participated in a study-abroad program at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, where she studied business law and international negotiations. This experience provides a broader perspective that she applies to her transactional and advisory work.
