About Patrick Nolan

Patrick’s extensive trial experience is reflected by his induction into the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2021. ABOTA is the premier trial organization in the United States whose members are admitted only after a rigorous screening process of demonstrated trial skills. Patrick’s trial results are regularly published in the Daily Journal, and he continues to obtain multi-million dollar verdicts. In December of 2022 a Santa Monica jury found in favor of Patrick’s client to the tune of $10 million. And then in March of 2023, a jury in Northern San Diego County – notorious for their conservative juries – reached a $5.4 million verdict for the DAA client. His reputation in trial also leads to pre-trial settlements in other cases, including most recently a settlement for $6.1 million in the case of Alcantara v. Rude Dog Bar and Grill. Not only has he been recognized annually by Super Lawyers magazine, but his legal articles have been published in the Advocate and Plaintiff magazines. Prior to law school, Patrick taught high school for 12 years at a Continuation School in East Los Angeles. After that, he attended UCLA School of Law where he was chosen for UCLA’s Moot Court Honors Team. He was a select member of UCLA’s Public Interest Law and Policy Program, and served as a judicial extern in federal court for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson. Upon graduation from UCLA in 2009, the American Board of Trial Advocates acknowledged Patrick’s demonstrated trial abilities by selecting him as one of their 2009 ABOTA Law Fellows. He is the first Law Fellow in the organization’s history to then go on to become an actual member of ABOTA. He joined Dewitt Algorri & Algorri in 2012 and represents only injured parties in all types of civil personal injury cases including product liability, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death and dangerous conditions of roadways. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and is the weakest link on his intramural basketball team.
