Ranger takes great pride in representing injured people and their families. Ranger joined Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. in 2013 after working for State Farm Insurance as a trial lawyer for 4 years. Ranger has extensive litigation and trial experience. He was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2012 at the Southern California law firm of Bonnie R. Moss & Associates. Ranger now exclusively represents injured people against many of the same insurance companies he formerly defended. This unique perspective has allowed Ranger to achieve jury verdicts and settlements far beyond the “best offers” made by insurance companies. In the last three years, Ranger has done more jury trials on the Central Coast than any other plaintiff’s lawyer. Ranger was named the Central Coast Trial Lawyers Association 2014 runner-up in the Trial Lawyer of the Year selection process. Ranger then went on to win Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2015 for the Central Coast Trial Lawyers Association. Ranger, along with his trial partner Tanya Ortega, received the honor of Harris Personal Injury Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in 2015 and 2016 for their extraordinary efforts, perseverance, and verdicts at trial. Ranger is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious trial lawyers organization with a stringent selection and nomination process. Ranger’s recent litigation accomplishments include the following jury verdicts and settlements: a jury verdict in the case of McCall v. Coast Line Distributing, Inc., et al. for $2.1 million; a settlement in the case of Mielke v. ATS Company, Skains, et al. for $2,025,000.00; a settlement in the case of Twisselman v. Travelers Insurance for $1 million; a settlement in the case of Moore v. Martinez Transport, Pilot Travel Center, et al. for $1,038,000.00; and a settlement in the case of Betancourt v. Lindsey for $1,600,000.00. Prior to law school, Ranger played college baseball and professional baseball in the Frontier League. When not working, Ranger enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, relaxing, and watching and playing all sports.
