Rya M. Nelson

Rya M. Nelson is an Associate Attorney who exclusively represents Plaintiffs in employment, personal injury, and civil rights matters. Rya brings a wealth of legal experience and a commitment to justice to the firm. Throughout her career, Rya has handled various cases from intake, through extensive litigation, and to jury verdict. Rya excels in representing individuals who have been injured, wronged, and discriminated against. Prior to joining the firm, Rya was employed at another Plaintiffs’ litigation firm, where she has solely represented Plaintiffs her entire legal career. Most notably, Rya externed with the Hon. Mary E. Wiss at the San Francisco Superior Court where she gained valuable insight into civil proceedings. Rya graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she served as Co-President of the Latinx Law Students Association. Rya additionally served as a competitor in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. Rya also graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Law. Rya is a knowledgeable and dedicated advocate ready to champion the rights of her clients. In her free time, Rya enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and hot yoga.
