Sharyl Walker

Sharyl Walker is an AV-rated business lawyer who specializes in business and real estate transactions and Indian lands transactions. Sharyl represents a range of companies and individuals in forming and advising business entities (corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships), negotiating and drafting contracts, transactions involving the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of commercial real estate, resolving contractual and business disputes, and general business counseling and problem-solving. Sharyl also has over 20 years of experience in Indian lands law, including leasing and other transactions involving Indian trust lands. Before founding Hill Walker with Elaine Hill in 1995, Sharyl was a partner with Best, Best & Krieger. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Desert Bar Association and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Sharyl was born and raised in upstate New York, and received her B.A. from Colgate University in 1979 and her J.D. and M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1983, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Law Review. She also served as a Judicial Clerk for Chief Judge Samuel King in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.
