Steven Hilst

Steven Hilst has over 30 years of experience fighting the insurance companies on behalf of injury victims and their families. Steven prepares each case as if it will go to trial and will do so if his clients are being treated unfairly by the insurance companies. Throughout his career, Steven has obtained over $50,000,000 on behalf of his clients. Since 2001 Steven has been an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only association which includes the top trial attorneys throughout the United States. He is also an active member of The Million Dollar Advocates Club, an honor reserved for only 5% of attorneys. He is also ranked as a Master with The American Inns of Court and has served on the Board of Directors of The William J. Rea/ ABOTA Inns of Court. Mr. Hilst has also successfully argued appeals, two of which resulted in published opinions. These cases are now used as legal precedent by other attorneys. Steven obtained his Bachelors Degree from The University of Southern California in 1984 and his Doctorate Degree in Law from Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Hilst also serves on the Board of Directors of The Trojan Club of Beach Cities, which raises contributions for scholar-athletes. He is also a member of St. James Catholic Church, where he has served as a lector and taught adult religious education.
