Bruce D Skaug

BIOGRAPHY Bruce Skaug is a native of southern Idaho whose ancestors homesteaded near Lizard Butte in Canyon County. He graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1988 and served for three years as a trial attorney for the Ada County Prosecutor's Office in Boise. In 1992, he began civil practice with the Skaug Law in Nampa with an emphasis on personal injury, wrongful death and workers' compensation litigation. Mr. Skaug has recovered millions of dollars for his clients in verdicts and settlements and has represented clients from several countries. Member Idaho Trial Lawyers and American Association for Justice, Idaho, Oregon and Montana Bar Associations. PUBLIC SERVICE Mr. Skaug has served on the board of directors for several non-profit charitable organizations including the Salvation Army, Hands of Hope, Nampa Lions Club, The Joseph Project, The Canyon County Historical Society, College Church of the Nazarene, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Foundation Board, Nampa Babe Ruth, Lifeline Crisis Pregnancy Center, Nampa Public Library and is a member of the Nampa Christian Schools Foundation Board. Bruce was recently elected to Nampa City Council on November 5, 2013. FAMILY Married to Debbie over 25 years and they have 6 children.
