Michael Aquino

Michael Aquino worked to pay his way through college and law school and is the first person in his family to have graduated from college. After graduating SUNY Stony Brook, with honors in 1983, he went to Brooklyn Law School and competed in the Moot Court Trial and was privileged to win the Sidney Talmadge individual award for trial excellence. He graduated from Brooklyn Law in 1986, and passed both the New Jersey and New York Bar examinations on his first attempt. He was hired as an attorney by the Manhattan insurance defense firm where he previously worked as a law clerk. There, he successfully tried multiple bodily injury cases gaining substantial experience in defense strategies and tactics. Afterward, he joined one of the largest and most prominent law firms in New Jersey and litigated one of the largest environmental cases as well as complex construction defect claims, bodily injury lawsuits, and commercial disputes. In 1995, Michael joined Salomon & Blackman, which has been representing the injured in Bergen and Passaic County since 1962. The firm is now called Salomon & Aquino, but the guiding philosophy is the same: we do what is right for you. He is a member of the Passaic County Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. Michael brings 30 years of transactional, litigation and trial experience to the firm. Perhaps more importantly, he understands the tremendous emotional and financial burden that being injured in an accident can cause on a person's life and has developed methods to aggressively and swiftly achieve solid results for his clients.
