Andrew J. Furman

Andrew J. Furman is an Associate in Chartwell's New York City office. He is a 2002 graduate of Columbia University and a 2007 graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Throughout law school Mr. Furman worked in the public sector, through clinical programs and internships at both the New York and Kings County District Attorney's Offices, and a semester working for the Hon. John M. Leventhal, who then sat for the Supreme Court, Kings County. Since graduating law school, Mr. Furman has worked in various law firms handling different stages of the discovery process for complex bankruptcy and securities litigations. Mr. Furman intends to focus his practice in the areas of general liability defense, premises liability defense, commercial litigation, consumer credit and subrogation
