About Sonia Allahdad

Sonia Allahdad is an associate at Levy Konigsberg, LLP where she specializes in representing survivors of sexual abuse under the Adult Survivors Act (ASA), with a strong emphasis on women abused in the New York State prison system. Sonia received her J.D. from Fordham Law School where she served as a member of Moot Court and the Urban Law Journal. Sonia has always been committed to being a victim advocate and fighting for human rights, and throughout law school, Sonia interned and volunteered for organizations that help vulnerable and marginalized individuals escape violence and seek justice. In 2019, Sonia volunteered for the Dilley Pro Bono Project at the Texas Family Detention Center where she assisted migrant women fleeing state-sanctioned abuse and poverty to obtain asylum in the United States. Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg, Sonia began her career in the mass torts litigation practice group of a national law firm. Her practice focused primarily on defending complex product liability and occupational injury matters involving chemical exposures. Additionally, Sonia gained experience in litigation brought under the Child Victims Act (CVA) which helped her develop expertise that she uses in strongly advocating for the rights of sexual abuse survivors throughout the State of New York.
