Challis Williams

Challis Williams is an associate with Reichert Law Office in Grand Forks. He currently practices in criminal defense work representing clients in state court in North Dakota and Minnesota. He also represents clients in the Federal District of North Dakota and the Federal District of Minnesota. Challis spent most of his childhood in Dickinson, ND. After high school, he was nominated as a Principal Candidate to attend the United States Air Force Academy by former House Rep. Earl Pomeroy. But, instead chose to pursue a legal career in North Dakota. He obtained his B.S. in Political Science from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. He then graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2016. During his time in law school, Challis earned an externship with the legislative council of the State of North Dakota Legislature. He served as a legislative intern for the North Dakota House Finance and Taxation Committee as well as the House Transportation Committee. Additionally, while in law school, he was the Vice President of the Energy Law Association and a member of the Criminal Law Association. He was also a member of the Student Trial Lawyers' Association and The Van Sickle Senate of Delta Theta Phi. He is currently a member of the Greater Grand Forks Bar Association, SBAND, and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Mr. Williams now lives in Grand Forks and enjoys spending time with his wife, Audra. He is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and North Dakota State Bison fan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the lake. He also enjoys watching football and attending UND Hockey games.
