Alexa Smart

Alexa was born and raised in Oklahoma. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2018 and then went on to obtain her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2021. During law school, Alexa spent a year working with the Innocence Project. This ignited her interest in criminal defense work. She is now a passionate advocate for protecting the rights of her clients facing the criminal justice system. Alexa has diverse experience in the legal field including civil rights, personal injury, public defense, and criminal law. She is licensed in both Oklahoma and Texas. She is also licensed in the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In her free time, Alexa enjoys attending all of the OKC Thunder games, going to cycle class, and spending time with her dogs.
