Doug Leavitt

Over the course of his legal career Doug Leavitt has represented individuals and small and medium-sized companies with regard to corporate formation, governance, finance, day to day business operations, real estate and employment issues. He is also an experienced litigator and has helped his clients recover monies lost through breached contracts, corporate mismanagement/breach of fiduciary duties, fraud, as well as litigation involving covenants not to compete and related injunctive relief. Mr. Leavitt began his legal career at a boutique Philadelphia commercial bankruptcy firm before moving on to one of the most respected large Philadelphia firms. Mr. Leavitt was a named partner at small Philadelphia firm before partnering with David Anderson to form Anderson Leavitt LLC in 2023. Mr. Leavitt received his degrees from University of Rochester and Syracuse University College of Law. He also holds an LLM in taxation from Georgetown University. Married, and a father of three, Mr. Leavitt resides in Horsham, Pennsylvania and is active in local charities and organizations. In particular, he offers pro bono (free) estate planning services to all of Horsham, Pennsylvania's police officers and their families.
