Amanda Haynes Young

Ms. Young is regularly engaged to lobby the Tennessee General Assembly on behalf of various clients, including hospitals, insurance companies, telecommunications companies, and professional groups. She has represented licensees before regulatory boards regarding licensure violations and regarding interpretation of rules. She represents various clients in general civil practice, including automobile accidents, health care litigation, and commercial matters. She is a former Board Member of Book 'Em, which is a not-for-profit organization aimed at providing books to children and to encourage the love of reading. She is a Board member of Night of Jade, an organization that raises money to help families whose children are being treated for cancer at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She also serves on the Harpeth Hall School Alumnae Board. In addition, she is a frequent speaker on the legislative process and updates on legislation.
