Jeremiah Asias Asercion

Jeremiah is originally from the Hampton Roads area, where his family has lived for several generations since his grandparents immigrated from the Philippines. Jeremiah obtained his B.A. from Harvard University and his J.D. from Georgetown University. During law school, Jeremiah worked as far away as the Philippines, as an intern law clerk for a Justice on the Philippine Supreme Court. Much closer to home, Jeremiah also interned with the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, and has been heavily involved in the local family law legal community ever since. Jeremiah frequently appears before the judges in local jurisdictions and is familiar with the nuances of local practice. Jeremiah's approach to the practice of law is heavily focused on informing and empowering his clients. In the legal world where knowledge is power, Jeremiah's goal is to make sure his clients fully understand their legal situation so they can meaningfully participate in evaluating their options. Jeremiah takes great satisfaction in helping his clients through some of the toughest times in their lives, and approaches law with precision and attentiveness to detail.
