Successful defense based on Claimant not proving an injury that occurred at a definite time with a sudden bodily change which saved the employer thousands of dollars in lifetime medical care. Defended manufacturer against a workers' compensation claim filed for an injured worker's back injury claim. By relying on the defense that the worker lacked the required medical evidence for a back injury occurring on the date of accident, the employer achieved significant savings.
