Kevin L. Leahy

Mr. Leahy is a former Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fauquier County. As a former prosecutor, he brings to the firm knowledge and experience from one of the local Commonwealth Attorney’s Offices. Mr. Leahy earned his B.S. degree in General Business Administration and a minor in Economics from University of Central Florida in 2002. He went to law school and earned his juris doctorate degree at American University, Washington College of Law. His experience lends to this firm his ability to assess criminal cases and understand the procedural aspects of criminal law. As a prosecutor, his trial experience ranged from violent crimes, such as, rapes and robberies to numerous misdemeanors, including drug and alcohol offenses. Mr. Leahy is a legal instructor at the Prince William County Criminal Justice Academy. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, D.C. Bar and Prince William County Bar Association. Mr. Leahy’s practice areas include criminal defense, traffic offenses, debt collections and personal injury.
